This is the best explanation, without saying it, I have read concerning the spread of Communism throughout the world. This plan and outcome was so subtle and targeted that no one, or almost no one noticed, even today it completely seems normal.
Of all of the Catholic Masses I have assisted in the one priestly order still to this day opposed to “Sunday as just another day” is the order of priests I follow, the FSSPX. Truly the priest hearing confessions probably hears the sin of not keeping holy, the Lords day most often. Not because the faithful in the pew are evil people but because they have been taught that to do anything unnecessary on Sunday is a sin against the Commandment to keep Holy the Lord’s Day.
This world now, much the same as the Modernist approach toward Holy Days of Obligation, ignores the Law to fulfill the snake’s whispers of “He Understands,” “your living under a new law now, go ahead and stop at the ‘drive through’ on your way home from The Holy Sacrifice and grab a bite.” It, as is the New Church Order, easy to slip on, “just this once”. “Everyone is doing it,” so to speak, or “God will understand, we are hungry after our Long fast before Mass.”
Communism is the snake in the tree of life! Fatima 1917 confirmed that for us. Russia has spread these errors through out the world. The Consecration of Russia will end all of this as our Lady said.

When Indiana repealed its blue laws, the liquor store workers complained. The volume of business was the same. People drank the same volume, but now people did not plan. They did not anticipate. They had no need to think. They could freely buy and sell as they please and the store workers no longer enjoyed time off as they did before. Their work weeks are now random and disordered. There is no clear beginning or end.
So the Von Trapps leave Austria (of their own free will) and then complain that America is nothing like Austria. The US was already heavily communized by that stage. The Allies fought to keep the world communist, and that is how it remains. Sundays are secularized to mimic Russia and all other communist countries. It’s the centralised way.
As for the Von Trapps, I have very little time for their whining and fabrication, which sells their books, records and totally nasty & bogus hollywood tripe.

I strictly observe it and keep it as the Lords day.
