Never heard of Sombr. Anyone that attends Saint Laurent fashion shows wearing lace, enjoys mocking masculinity, much in the same way that femininity has been belittled. Simon Cowell is not a music impresario. He is a marketer, in the same way a box of cereal is marketed. Cereal is useful, what Cowell is foisting on the public is not.

I try to follow some popular culture, just to connect with normies. It can be quite interesting. The thing with Cowell is: his strategy used to be succesfull, but seems to crack now... He has been continuing his Got Talent shows, which offer 0 perspective to an artist, yet are his bread and butter.
This is the problem with most industries now: no one really takes risks anymore, it's all just preserving what's already there. You do see a lot of company acquisitions, like LVMH does, but that makes every luxury brand look and feel the same. It works for now, but I wonder how long it will take to break the spell for normies too.

Normies? I had a horrible experience with a normie, just today. His only evidence for his claim was a wikipedia article, that’s it, and his strong opinions and beliefs, history was largely ignored by him.. He also loathed St Bakhita, he only learned of her when I mentioned her. He consulted his wikipedia page on St Bakhita and declared both her and Mother Teresa non-saints, branding Teresa a child trafficker, even though she passed away close to 30 years ago and the incident in question was in 2018, which he also knew little about, just the scandalous headlines. When I foolishly asked him, yet again for evidence, not instagram hysterics, he admitted he had no proof, but that he was correct all the same. Then he went into a scandalous tirade on priests. It was truly disgusting. According to him, Catholicism, having begun in & around Jerusalem, was therefore Jewish. This is what I have to deal with. I’m going to have to avoid the Normies, too exasperating for me.
